David Lynch, A Phase Shift, and finally a new outlook.

So I was reading David Lynch's new book "Catching the Big Fish" today and I found several great quotes but here is one I should never forget:
"Anger depression and sorrow are beautiful things, but they're like poison to the film maker or artist. They're a vise grip on creativity. If you're in that grip, you can hardly get out of bed, much less experience the flow of creativity and ideas. You must have clarity to create. You have to be able to catch ideas." - David Lynch

It's been such a beautiful week, my ears finally feel like they are starting to work again. My brain is starting to think much more logically, and... well I just feel amazing over all. I set my sights to finish the album by the 7th of next month. I just need to get this thing done... If I don't put a date to get done, it will never ever ever get done. So the 7th is the day...

I finally feel like I am pushing through the phase shift, my normal self seems to be creeping out of the darkness. It was being held down by a number of things but finally, finally I see some light, it's a bit murky but it's beautiful all the same.
