He tried to sell me life insurance at my brothers going away party...
I could write a lot about nothing right now but I think I will just get to the few highlights of my day. I mean, it's important to note the highlights because if you have a few good memories, all the moderately good memories surrounding the few amazing ones are bound to surface...
Well today Kenji had a going away party in Golden Gate park. The weather forecast was forecasting a horrible day, but with the luck of some aweinspiring wind the clouds were forced away from our humble meeting grounds. A lot of amazing things happened, including finding out what jumping into a thorn bush feels like, coming out bleeding and smiling like it was the greatest thing ever while everyone else around looks on in utter horror. It is truely an amazing feeling... Well, when the party was wrapping up and everyone was leaving to go back to there comfortable places in life, my brothers accountant walks up to me and offers me to buy life insurance from him... I was holding a cigarette at the time, while he was asking I imaged a close up on the cigarette... He told me, "A guy like you, I could get you coverage for around eighty dollars a month." I think auto-pilot kicked in there, but I said something, something I wasn't thinking really about. Something to get him the hell away from me, while my inner dialog couldn't believe what was going on... Needless to say, it was an amazing day... Not to mention some good quotes that I believe Darrell has scribbled on a black notebook somewhere...
"You like Bon Jovi? His songs are like motivational books in a song... How lame is that?".....
